this was a good week

This was a good week! Here’s why:

• Marcus had his first COVID vaccine, my doctor surprised me and told me that I was up for my vaccine and I’m scheduled to have my first round today (!!), and I bought a new dSLR camera (a Nikon D750), my first SLR in 9 years. This one is much smaller than my last one (about half the weight!), and it’s not even the latest model, but it has all the power of my last one, and can connect to my phone via WiFi, and I am really excited to use it. Oh, to travel again. (The photos in this post are the first images I took with the new camera!)

• This man has been dancing in the Yukon every day of the pandemic and it is just joyful.

• 3,745 masks from around the world. Amazing.

• I’ve never been able to skip a rock, but maybe this video will teach me how.

• Fireflies in Japan. Astounding!

• This drone video of a bowling alley is wild.
