a little list of good things
I’ve seen some good things these past few days! Like these:
• I had some productive meetings (including ones related to The Lightmaker’s Manifesto — have you preordered your copy yet?), and going through my archives, I found the image above, and it made me smile.
• My friends Brené Brown and Tarana Burke co-edited a beautiful anthology — and it debuted at number 3 on the New York Times bestseller list! That’s what I’m talkin’ ‘bout! (Incidentally, it is an amazing read — I strongly recommend picking up a copy.)
• Whales!
• This history of Rastafarianism taught me so much.
• These half-renovated homes in Germany are wild.
• These are the 100 best sitcoms of all time — do you agree?
• The world’s most beautiful gas stations. Say what, now?
• And for today’s soundtrack: I’ve always loved Gone ‘Til It’s Gone by Janet Jackson, but for some reason, I missed the video when it came out 24 (!) years ago. I found it about a week ago, and I’m mesmerized by it.

See you soon, lovelies.
And now you’re ready for the new year: fun facts, a cool designer, and representation matters.
It’s back: good people doing good things. And raising a little hell in the process.
Some joy in a good week.
