This morning:

“You and Dad already voted, right, Mom?”

“Kid, your father and I became U.S. citizens specifically so that we could vote. We don’t miss an election. Yes, we’ve voted.”

I’m not gonna lie, I’m looking at today’s midterm elections with some trepidation: I feel like the results will show me exactly what America is made of.

Go vote for love and light, friends.
