Brothers and sisters, can we get a what-what that August is here?!
I don’t know about you guys, but July wore. me. out. I overextended myself, mostly because I knew that I was going to be doing a lot of writing in August. I feel like that poor, droopy Mexican petunia above.
But it’s finally August. And while I have a few coaching sessions this coming week, for the most part, I’ve hung the “gone fishin’” sign on my coaching practice until mid-September, so I can focus on writing my book, and maybe even squeeze in some family downtime at some point, as well.
So here’s to August, and while you’ll still see me here on the blog, I’ll be resting more this month. And seriously, friends: consider doing the same, if you can. This relentless pandemic is no joke, and don’t underestimate the toll it is taking on your spirit and psyche. Remember that rest is an important part of showing up.
Go easy, friends.
