finding treasures

I hope you’ve been enjoying the end of the year holidays — we certainly have. Marcus’ sister and her family flew in from England to spend the holidays with us, and we’ve been having a whale of a time.

That’s the thing about houseguests, isn’t it — it forces you to go out and explore your own town. Because of them, we’ve been visiting places in Houston that we haven’t visited in a long time. There have been trips to NASA. Excursions to the Mexican bakery, and browsing the markets. Tomorrow I hear there’s a journey to the beach planned. It’s been lovely remembering all the little treasures there are in our hometown — it’s like we forgot they existed until we actually spent the time to think about it.

And speaking of finding treasures under your nose, that’s exactly what my online course create.2019 will do for your own life: you’ll be guided to finding the treasures that 2018 gave you (even if they’re not readily apparent), and use them to help shape the coming new year. I’m popping in to let you know that registration for this course ends tomorrow night, Friday, December 28th — after that, it’ll be gone for a year, at least. It’s a completely self-paced course, showing up in the privacy of your own inbox, for about the price of a latte a day, for 15 days. You can join wherever in the world you are. And it will be affirming and clarifying, I promise.
