My friend Christy Gray is an artist, and she shared one of the pieces of her 100-day project with me. Yesterday, I asked her what she’s been learning in the process, and she said that in addition to honing her skills, simply the act of creating sparks her creativity.
I’m taking most of August off to write my book — and it dawned on me that I might also need a 100-day practice to help spark my creativity. So as the outer bands of Hurricane Hanna shower Houston as it makes its way inland in South Texas, this is day 2 of my 100-day photography project.
