this was a good week (1/100)

This was a good week! Here’s why:

• This was a productive week — I got a lot done; but also, after next week, my schedule clears out considerably so I can spend August writing — alleluia. We also got some clarity on Alex’s school (no in-person classes for several weeks, thank heavens), and work has been fun. A bounty of awesome.

• Listen to the doctor: always take care of the light.

• Babies of the pandemic — some sweet joy around the world during these difficult times.

• This 20-year-old (!!!) medical student couldn’t find an accurate representation of how symptoms look on darker skin, so he wrote a book about it.

• I have a thing for art that also includes embroidery.

• And for this week’s anthem: Stand Together. The ONE Campaign and 10 major African artists have come together to release a music track calling for the world to join in solidarity to fight COVID-19.
