this was a good week
This was a good week! Here’s why:
• Tons of interviews this week for the book — which means I’m full up on inspiration for how to make the world better. It’s dark, my friends, but there are beautiful people making gorgeous light out there, I promise.
• The water lily harvest in Vietnam looks amazing.
• My sister sent me this world portrait and it’s had me thinking ever since.
• I love this story of Skip the bartender.
• Apparently, Hamilton is set to start streaming today in the US on the Disney+ network, with the original cast. I love this play (and have seen it twice), so I think for today’s soundtrack I’ll share a song off of The Hamilton Mixtape, one that was inspired by a line in the play that gets enthusiastic applause — Immigrants: We Get The Job Done.
