kickstarter coaching packages (only available until may 31st!)
It’s been 2 years since I began coaching in earnest, and I have to tell you: coaching may be the best professional decision that I’ve ever made. I absolutely love it. I’ve worked with priests and doctors and geophysicists and professors and entrepreneurs, and honestly, there is nothing I love better than witnessing people get a spark of excitement or inspiration about the possibilities that exist within the work that they put out int he world. Through my coaching relationships, I’ve watched folks negotiate promotions and international assignments and write the books that they knew that they had in them — it’s really so wonderful.
As it happens, a couple of people have come to the end of their coaching packages with me, which is great, honestly: I often tell people, especially those who hire me purely because they have a specific project that they’d like to work on — that my goal is to work myself out of a job. But this also means that I have a few openings for new clients.
I’ve been thinking about what I can offer during this time when most of us are working from home, or have businesses that have had to shutter while cities are on lockdown. I mean, I get that it might not make sense right now to commit to a six- or twelve- session package that would take 6 months or a year to complete, especially since there may not be an office open to implement your plans.
But maybe I can offer a space to brainstorm. A place where you can speak aloud dreams that you have about a special project, or a new move. Something that you can take definitive action on once we get out of seclusion.
And so, I’m happy to offer the Kickstarter Sessions.
Think of this as sort of a mini-package of coaching sessions: as opposed to a longer-term coaching relationship where we’d be working on overall leadership skills or creating stronger relationships with your boss or co-workers, this mini-package is specifically designed for those who have been thinking about launching something: a new business, say. Or even a book. Or a philanthropic project. And while this package of three 1-hour virtual sessions is less expensive than any other packages I currently offer, just like the other offerings, our time together will still be rooted in the tenets of positive psychology, as well as Brené Brown’s Dare to Lead™ philosophies (as a Certified Dare To Lead™ Facilitator, I promise I take her work on courage, vulnerability and leadership very seriously). You’ll receive written summaries of our sessions, including insights, and homework we come up together for you to accomplish before our next session. Our time together won’t be about seeing your big idea to completion, but more about getting it off the ground. Mapping out a plan. Putting together the start of a proposal … you get the idea. Then, once the world opens back up again, you’ll be better positioned to be go for launch.
