a proper english wedding

Hello from Cornwall!

This is the real reason we’re in England — our sweet niece Ellie is marrying her love, Ollie, today — and if that doesn’t sound like the title of an English rom-com (“Ellie and Ollie’s Cornish Wedding!”), then I don’t know what does.

We arrived a couple of nights ago, and we’ve been spending time reconnecting with family, cuddling new babies, and meeting new family members. And for the first time in my life, the weather has been positively perfect in England, and we’ve been making the most of it, including a huge family garden picnic, and even breakfast on the beach.

But now it’s time to get ready to go to the chapel. I love love.
