photovent 2010, day 10: share (the final day of the book launch giveaway!)

"The fact that I can plant a seed and it becomes a flower, share a bit of knowledge and it becomes another's, smile at someone and receive a smile in return, are to me continual spiritual exercises."

~  Leo Buscaglia

I'm just in from my book launch -- it was amazing, and wonderful, and I'm exhausted, and so, so happy.   I'll tell you all about it soon, but first, some business:

1.  The winner of yesterday's giveaway, according to Random.org, was Kristine, who said, "The person I love the most fiercely is my sister. She has been there for me my whole life and there is no one else I can talk to the way I do with her. There isn't much I wouldn't do for that woman. Even though she lives on the other side of the country, I think about her every single day."  Congratulations, Kristine!  Please email me your snail mail address, and I'll get the book out to you soon.

2.  Today's the last day of the book launch giveaway, so this time, if you'd like to win a signed copy of the book, please share something with me in the comments below.  It can be anything:  a little-known fact about you, your favourite song lyric, a knock-knock joke, whatever -- I'd just like to learn something about you.   I'll pick a comment at random on Sunday evening.

And with that, I'm off to bed.  I promise, I'll tell you about the book launch soon.  And to all of you who came out to the launch, THANK YOU.  I was so moved -- it was truly one of the best nights of my life.
