this was an insane week

Sometimes, when it comes time to write my This Was A Good Week post, it feels like the Universe is just testing me.

And dear Lord, this week feels like one of those times.

I got nothin’, folks. I really don’t. The president of the United States inciting an insurrection and the storming of the Capitol building just wasn’t on my bingo card. And since Wednesday, I’ve been incapable of much rational thought.

So, even though I know there was good in this week (yay, Georgia!), I’m afraid I’m going to have to take a pass today. If you want to listen to what actually happened at the US Capitol Building this Wednesday with the timeline all laid out, this podcast episode does so in astonishing detail (and it’s really well done).
