this was a good week
This was a good week! Here’s why:
Our olive tree is looking good (despite living in a climate that isn’t really great for olives — perhaps there’s a metaphor here about thriving in unnatural situations?), and we made it through a week of social distancing — yes! How about you?
Speaking of social distancing, I love this exquisite corps of dancers and choreographers modeling art and social distancing in the most beautiful way.
And for the remainder of the awesome things I’ve found this week, tune in at 4pm central time United States time (-5 GMT) on my Facebook page for a Light Hour — where we’ll connect in real time and check in with each other. (If you’re on Facebook and you like and follow my Facebook page, you’ll get a notification when I go live, but even if you’re not on Facebook, you’ll be able to see it.) If you cant make it at 4, no worries — I’ll update this post with a recording so you can catch it then.
But I hope you can make it. I’d love to “see” you.
UPDATED: Thanks to all of you who joined me today during the Light Hour! Here’s the recording:
And here’s what we talked about!
• 10 positive updates on the COVID-19 virus from around the world.
• Musicians performing in their homes for #togetherathome
• Christmas lights for coronavirus
• My friend Katherine is lighting a candle for first responders
• My top tips for working from home
• Lunch Doodles with Mo Willems!
• Social Distancing Happy Hour!
That was so much fun! I think we’re going to do it again next week, so be sure to like and follow the Facebook page so you know when we go live!
Happy weekend, everyone.
