this was a good week
This was a good week! Here’s why:
• Now that he’s working from home, I’ve learned new things about my husband, including he apparently doesn’t know how to make a bed. The image above shows his latest attempt.
• Nikon is offering free photography courses through the month of April. G’on and get you some!
• This quarantine love story warms the cockles of my heart.
• And finally, and unusual soundtrack for today: the scrumptious John Krasinski has launched the Some Good News Network, his straight-from-his-quarantined-home show all about good news. Grab a cuppa, click here or the image below and settle in for 16 minutes of lovely.
And for even more awesome, tune in at 4pm central time United States time (-5 GMT) on my Facebook page for a Light Hour — where we’ll connect in real time and check in with each other, talk about some good news, journaling, and why rum punch gets better with age. (If you’re on Facebook and you like and follow my Facebook page, you’ll get a notification when I go live, but even if you’re not on Facebook, you’ll be able to see it.) If you cant make it at 4, no worries — I’ll update this post with the recording and related links so you can catch it then.
See you then!
UPDATE: If you missed today’s Light Hour, here it is:
And here’s what we talked about:
• That rum punch recipe we talked about last week.
• The sweetest quarantine love story.
• Danny Gregory, and his sketchbook skool.
• Zentangling.
• Also, for what it’s worth, this is the large journal that I use and this is the smaller one I use for sketching.
• How a 15,000-year-old human bone could help you through the coronacrisis. Including a lovely visualization exercise to help calm you.
Enjoy!!
