I'm still reeling from the election, I ain't gonna lie. And I've promised myself that I'm not going to rush through my emotions around this. I'll be back with new resolve, but for now I need to take a beat.

Back in England for a few weeks. While it doesn’t feel like home, I don’t expect it to — after all, I’ve lived in America for decades and it had never really felt like home. Only Trinidad gets to be called home.
