#naphopomo 2013, day 25: the texas capitol
The weather in Texas has been crazy -- close to freezing the last few days, and we had to leave Austin early to avoid being on the road during the forecast sleet. Therefore, it wasn't ideal weather to be sightseeing, but we escaped the cold by going inside the Capitol building, and checking it out.
Say what you want about Texas politics (and trust me, I say a lot), but the Capitol building is truly impressive.
The photographs above were taken as part of #NaPhoPoMo (National Photo Posting Month) -- a shot a day for the month of November. You should join me: it's a lesson in stopping and looking, improving your photography skills, and appreciating the beauty and light around you.
