my brand new podcast: make light! first up: #fiercelove
So, here's something new and exciting!
Several months ago, I was talking to my friend Asha Dornfest, about my upcoming book. She's a seasoned author herself, and she was asking me what I was planning to do to help get word out about Make Light.
"I haven't really thought about it," I said.
"Well," she said decisively. "I think you should start a podcast."
I inhaled deeply. To be honest, I'd been toying with the idea of a podcast or a while. But the idea of learning all of the technical stuff behind putting together a podcast was daunting. "Maybe," I said.
As coincidence would have it, a couple of months later, Meagan Francis of the Life, Listened Network contacted me. "Hey, Karen," she said, "have you ever considered starting a podcast? We'd love to have you join us, and we can help you with all the technical stuff ..."
Well.
A few conversations more, and long story short, here I am welcoming you to the very first episode of season one of Make Light! I'm so excited about doing this -- I have a lineup of some amazing women that I can't wait to share with you you. I'm also thrilled that my very first guest is, naturally, my dear friend, author and podcaster Asha Dornfest, the person who inspired me to do this in the first place.
