gratitude interlude

I'm grateful for the little snail yesterday who endured me moving him from the sidewalk to a leaf, and then eventually emerged from his shell so that I could take his photograph.

(And I'm trying not to think about the fact that I got eaten alive by a swarm of what will undoubtedly turn out to be West Nile mosquitoes, just so I could get the shot.  Because I'm an intrepid photographer, I am!)

(Not my smartest move.)

Planning an easy day today -- I need a bit of down time.  But before I do that, some recent posts on Bliss Your Heart:

First, ever so slowly, autumn is finally starting to make an appearance:  temperature are starting to fall, if only to the 80s.   But I'll take it: fall is one of my favourite things about Houston.

Also, I shared my special comfort drink I make for Alex when she's having a tough day.  Do you have one of these?

With that, have a great weekend, friends.
