a moment in time: 9:00 a.m., a couple of days ago

Cold and rainy -- just like a winter day in my favourite city -- but I'm warm, sitting in one of my favourite coffeehouses, the one with the view of the Tex-Mex restaurant and the adult store.  Sipping cappuccino, and this song starts softly playing on the sound system, a song I'm pretty sure I haven't heard since I was 13 years old.

In other words, it's the perfect start to my day.
