rufus
Photographed with Nikon D300 and a Lensbaby composer.
It's been a while since I had a Rufus update.
Rufus is still a very chill dog (thank heavens). He is Alex's constant shadow, which is sort of the reason we got the dog in the first place, so mission accomplished. The vet is quite pleased with the progress he's made. He runs around the garden like a mad animal, has several stuffed animals he carries with him everywhere, and has developed a love of shoes: he doesn't chew on them (much), but he'll run around the house collecting them, carefully placing them on his beloved pillow in my office, to do I-don't-know-what-with. He manages to move Alex's and my shoes around relatively easily; however, you really haven't lived until you've seen a 9-pound puppy struggle to haul around the stinky athletic shoe of a 6'5" man.
In other words, he's doing great.
Update: I'm thrilled to share that the lovely Alex de Souza of Gypsy Girl's Guide has interviewed me for her latest feature, Life Transitions Interviews. Please click here to read more. Thanks so much, Alex!
