Back in England for a few weeks. While it doesn’t feel like home, I don’t expect it to — after all, I’ve lived in America for decades and it had never really felt like home. Only Trinidad gets to be called home.

But right now

I’ve been thinking a lot about these words, said to me by a dear friend. In fact, it seems they’re the only thing I’ve been capable of thinking of, these days.
