In 2011, I had the chance to travel with my daughter back to my homeland of Trinidad & Tobago. Despite the fact that by now I've lived the majority of my life in the United States, Trinidad will always be home -- it's like my soul breathes a huge sigh of relief whenever I set foot on Trinidadian soil.
These photographs are some of my favourites I shot on that trip. I hope they capture the essence of my beautiful country.
