getting ready for school (44/100)

Yesterday, after we got back to Houston, Alex drove over to her school to pick up her textbooks for the year. Virtual school starts for her on Tuesday. She’s really disappointed that she won’t be going back to her school to see her friends.

She has a little desk area outside of her bedroom, and last night I looked around. “Hey, Al,” I said, “do you want to redecorate your little office area this weekend? You know, get it feeling a little more 11th grade, and a little less 10th grade, before you start school?”

She brightened. “Yes, please. Let me look at my Pinterest board?”

So she did. And this morning, we headed over to the arts & crafts for to pick up some mason jars and organizers and some string lights.
