daily peace intention
Yesterday, I mentioned that I wanted to focus on peace here on Chookooloonks between now and Christmas -- and then promptly got on a plane for a quick business trip to Los Angeles. It appears there's no rest for the wicked.
Sometime during the second hour of the almost-4-hour flight over, I made a pact with myself: I'm going to make sure that I find some time every day devoted to complete peace.
And I started with just a few moments on a hotel window seat with a good book and a glass of wine.
Obviously, glasses of wine in hotels aren't going to happen every day, so I'm taking the time instead to revitalize my daily yoga practice. I began a home practice thanks to my friend Marianne, and I love doing it, but the trip to Australia threw a monkey wrench into my consistency. I'm ready to get back to it.
And on the days that I don't get yoga practice in? I'll just take 5 minutes to breathe. (And this One-Moment Meditation video will be the perfect inspiration.)
